Oh My Goodness!

 

Oh my goodness, did I stumble upon the BEST recipe ever yesterday!  This recipe is so different and so good I just had to share it with you all! This recipe comes from my good friend Katie over at

This recipe comes from my good friend Katie over at This Chick Cooks.  It is simple, full a flavor and such a healthy snack.

My girls LOVED these and asked me to make another batch.  So what is this awesome dish?  Roasted Chickpeas.

I know, have you ever heard of roasting chickpeas?  I hadn’t until yesterday!

When you roast them, they take on a totally different flavor and texture.  These little things are crunchy, a bit salty and packed with all kinds of flavor!

I can see putting these on salads, packing them in my kids lunch, putting them in a healthy trail mix…the possibilities are endless!

This Amazing & Simple Recipe!

 

Here is what you need to do.  The only change I made was instead of using olive oil, I used grass fed butter.  Simply toss your chick peas with butter and spices (see recipe).  Put on a baking sheet and roast for 30-35 minutes.
