Post Workout Berry Smoothie, Holistic Recipe
I often times come home from the gym needing a little extra snack or recovery drink. This is a perfect post workout snack. If you are looking for a little more protein, add another tablespoon of gelatin. This drink is full of flavor and is super healthy for you!
Serves: (1) 12 oz smoothie
- 6 oz whole greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp gelatin (disolved in warm water) optional
- 4-6 ice cubes
- ⅛ cup of water or milk
- ¼ of banana
- 3-4 strawberries
- 1-2 tsp coconut palm sugar (or sweetener of choice)
- ⅛ cup wild blueberries
- Mix all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Serving size: 1
