Description

Are you looking for a fudge recipe that is super easy to make and is also healthy for you? Enjoy this delicious and nourishing coconut butter fudge recipe!


Ingredients

  • 12 oz unsweetened shredded coconut (about 6 cups)
  • 2/3 cups organic cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup grade b maple syrup (raw honey can also be used)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup blanched almond butter (regular almond butter can also be used)

Instructions

  1. Place the unsweetened coconut into a food processor and blend until coconut butter forms (about 5 minutes) (See Video).
  2. After the coconut butter forms, add in the maples syrup, sea salt and vanilla and pulse a few times.
  3. Now add in the cocoa powder and almond butter and pulse 5-6 times or until a dough forms.
  4. Remove the dough/fudge from the food processor and press into a 8″x 8″ square pan lined with parchment paper.
  5. Press firmly into the pan and place into freezer for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove and cut into 25 squares. Store in refrigerator.
