Introducing Our New Website!
Hey everyone! I am super excited to share with you all something I have been working on for months now. It’s a new website, Growing Real Food, that focuses on a step by step approach to growing real food.
This website is for beginners to advanced gardeners, we have something for everyone! We take you through the planning stages right on through to the harvesting stages. We even have an advanced section of our website that you can grow into.
Growing Real Food will grow as I post throughout the growing season this year and many growing seasons to come. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter and subscribe to our site so that you don’t miss a thing!
Over the past year, our gardening section of WLN (Whole Lifestyle Nutrition) website has grown in popularity significantly! This is super exciting news and I am so happy that people are diving into growing their own real food.
You can also connect with us on Facebook and Twitter to receive even more great content!
This website, Growing Real Food, has the same values of WLN but has a strong focus on gardening and recipes that come straight from the garden. We invite you to stop on by and check us out! 🙂
Onto Our First Post
So today we officially put out our first post. This years gardening season started a bit late because of a harsh winter that Wisconsin experienced. I think we are in the clear and spring has finally arrived and so has our gardening season.
Here is a sneak peek of todays post.
Planting Seeds
A lot of individuals think that it is really difficult to start your plants from seeds, but it really is quite easy. In my post Planting Seeds Has Never Been So Easy, I go into detail on how easy this really is!
Once you plant your seeds however, your seedlings might look something like this.
A critical mistake that many new gardeners make is to leave their seedling like this rather then thinning them out. It is so important to thin your plants out and let me tell you why.
