What is Moon Milk and How It Can Dramatically Improve Your Sleep!

I’ve started a new series called 100 Days of Natural Living.

In day 1, I shared my story on why I am so passionate about living a natural lifestyle.

You might well have heard of Golden Milk before, the turmeric health drink that has been drunk by health seekers for thousands of years.

In fact, going back to our childhood, it is very possible that we can remember days when we couldn’t sleep for whatever reason and we would be given a glass of warm milk with cinnamon over or nutmeg to help us get back to sleep?

Well, like many other foods and beverages before it, this very old-fashioned way of drinking milk has received a very trendy upgrade.

We live in a time when nothing today seems to go uncaptured; on Instagram or Twitter or Pinterest, and all are overflowing with posts particularly dedicated to this all-revitalized nightcap.

What is Moon Milk Anyways?

 

Of course, it has a new name too – it’s called Moon Milk, with a few other healthful ingredients added in.

Moon milk is all about warm milk (can use nut milk too), nutmeg, cinnamon, honey ground ashwagandha, as well as some colorful healthy floral ingredients like blue pea powder for instance, and herbs and spices like turmeric – all natural ingredients to calm and relax the body.

Coconut oil is another must-have in moon milk which will do wonders for your health.

    Halle, I am so excited to learn how to make a candle without wax and I see so many other natural remedies I want to try. I am type 2 diabetic, do you know if the moon milk would be good for diabetics?

    hello, interesting article. To be honest, I often suffer from insomnia, I can just lie down all night thinking about why I still can’t sleep. And I always drank soothing herbal teas, sleeping pills. But the result is so-so. And this is the first time I heard about such milk, something really cool, as I understood. I think I will try in the near future and then I will write again, I will share my impressions. Thanks for the advice
