My Love For Herbs

 

If you have been around my site much, you might already know that I have a passion for gardening!  Have you seen all of our gardening posts? We also have a lot of gardening videos too!  

One of my favorite things to grow in my garden is herbs!  Herbs make everything taste better and I can’t imagine cooking in my kitchen without them!

But did you know that herbs also have healing qualities to them?  They do and today I am going to share with you the top 10 healing herbs for natural remedies!

So here is a list of the top 10 healing herbs that I grow in my garden.  Most of them can easily be grown from seeds, so I will include information on where you can purchase quality GMO-free seeds.

1. Rosemary

Do you have a cough? Fresh rosemary {You Can Buy GMO-Free Seeds Here} has eycalyptol qualities which helps break up congestion in the chest and this releases the phlegm from your chest.  Rosemary also has tannins in their leaves which are anti inflammatory.  This will also help make a sore throat feel better.

2.  Mint

    Very good info to know! Thanks for sharing. I don’t have much luck with gardening at all but I’m wondering if these herbs could be grown indoors year round. I tried rosemary, cilantro a parsley plants on the kitchen counter a few years ago and they died. 🙁 Is it worth trying again?

      Sure, anything is worth trying again in my opinion. Try growing them in pots outdoors this summer, you might have better luck!

    Unless your window is on the south side, plants might not grow well indoors. North and east windows suck for plant growing as well as windows with lots of shade
