My Weight Loss Story Update
Seems like my whole adult life (and if I’m being honest, my teenage life too) I’ve struggled with my weight.
Who can relate to me? I wouldn’t call me a yo-yo dieter at all, but I have been trying to figure out the missing piece to the puzzle for years now.
Do you want to know something that changed my whole world and finally allowed me to find the missing piece??
The Missing Piece of The Puzzle
We often think that we know all the answers, but the fact is…we don’t.
I thought I needed to eat gluten-free, dairy-free, eliminate grains, eat GMO-free, eat only organic, pastured, grass-fed or whatever else the trend currently was in order to have success.
It wasn’t until I THREW ALL THE RULES OUT THE WINDOW that I started to see results, not only physically, but in every aspect of my life too.
HALT!!! Wait a minute, I’m getting ahead of myself…let’s backtrack a bit here and let me tell you how I got to this point, ok?
But What About Your First Weight Loss Story?
A while back I wrote about My Weight Loss Story and this is an update to that post.
In this post, I talk a lot about healing your body. I still believe that we all have a lot of healing to do before we can achieve our goals.
I followed Anthony William’s protocol (from the Medical Medium series of his best-selling books) for several years. (This is NOT the same as the 28-day raw cleanse.)
It was a strict protocol, yes…but I believe that my body finally had a chance to heal so that I could start living a normal life without all the rules.
How I Healed My Body
As I mentioned, I spent several years on a healing journey. Most of that time was spent on research and development and putting it into a program that would work for anyone.
The exciting part is that I’ve put all this information into an easy-to-follow 4-week Toxic-Free Healing Secrets Master Class so that you have all the tools that you’ll need to heal.
I followed this EXACT protocol that helped me move from healing to thriving, and that’s when I could FINALLY throw all the rules out the window (as I spoke about earlier in this post).
What Happened After I Was Done Healing?
After I was done with my healing part of my journey, a lot of changes happened.
- My skin got clearer
- My chronic health issues disappeared
- I lost the weight that my body was hanging onto for its survival
- Food allergies disappeared
- Energy levels increased
- Stress levels decreased
- Anxiety disappeared
- Sleep issues were gone
- Happiness returned
And truthfully, so much more happened…but these were just a few key points
Having The Freedom to Live A Life of Joy!
What does it mean to finally throw all the rules out the window?
I now eat dairy, gluten, cheese, chocolate, grains, bagels, salads, beer, you name it…NOTHING is off limits!
It is SO liberating to eat whatever I want, whenever I want.
That doesn’t mean that I don’t have to watch my portions and manage how much I eat…but I’ll talk to you about that in my next post, okay?

Don’t you think the ailments will come back if you eat these foods again?? It seems contradictory.

No Stacey, I do not think these ailments will come back. I think our bodies have a unique ability to heal on so many levels.
When you get a cold, your body eventually heals on its own. If you want to try to combat type 2 diabetes, you do that by changing your eating habits and you exercise. If you have a wart that keeps coming back, even after treatment, your body eventually will learn to fight the virus that is causing the wart and it will eventually go away on its own as well.
These are just a few examples of course. I’ve given my body the proper tools it needed to properly heal and that is what has led me to where I am today.
That being said, I still eat an incredibly healthy diet and add these foods, that use to be trigger foods for me, in moderation. It is all about finding the right balance.

Hi Halle, thanks in advance for reading this question-riddled reply lol.
So do you mean that it is necessary to follow the Medical Medium protocol first but that you can eventually be more lax once the viruses/strep/heavy metals have been dealt with, or is there something else to the healing process, like his advice is incomplete? I wanted to start the detox smoothie but am also feeling afraid, first of negative effects that might come from the smoothie and also that I may have put so much time into following his advice only to have it be fruitless. Basically really scared of it not working. I feel really lost on what to believe and try and my most concerning symptoms are cognitive so I don’t think I have years to try out different things. Was his protocol still vital in your recovery after all, or is there something more? Is that what the 4-week program covers, and also that’s not saying you’ll be able to heal after just four weeks is it? Seems like it wouldn’t be that short since you spent years working on recovery. But oh my God would that be a godsend. Thank you again.
