Description

Organic jalapeño poppers are a great appetizer for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 12 whole organic jalapenos
  • 8 oz organic cream cheese
  • 2 oz green chilies (1/2 of a 4 oz can)
  • parmesan raw cheese to top (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the jalapeno peppers in half and scrape out the membranes and seeds.
  2. If you want your poppers to be spicy, leave in a few seeds.
  3. In a small bowl combine the cream cheese and green chilies.
  4. Mix until well blended.
  5. Scoop the cream cheese mixture into the jalapeno halves.
  6. Top with a little parmesan cheese if desired.
  7. Bake in a 450 degree F oven for 15 minutes.

    mm mm mm – not much on jalapenos, but anything Halle makes is phenomenal!

    I do this anaheim peppers, too. I mix italian seasoning with the cream cheese & top with raw cheddar. Yum!
