Oh, these look great! My oldest is looking over my shoulder and is now drooling! 🙂 Got this tweeted and pinned!
Too bad it has cane sugar:(
@Chef Art You can switch it out with rapadura, palm sugar, granulated maple sugar.
I used Monk Fruit sweetener in place of the sugar and they were delicious!
Great!
I used this recipe to make cookies last night and they are perfect. Thank you!
Great, so happy you enjoyed them!
I am not sure where I went wrong. I followed the recipe exactly but my cookies did not turn out. I had just purchased all new ingredients. They were runny and spread all over the pan. They also taste very coconut-ee. Just wondering if you are to compress the almond flour when measuring? Just trying to figure out what I did wrong. I even used the Enjoy life minis (which are absolutely WONDERFUL!!!). I am thinking maybe I forgo the coconut oil and use all butter next time. And maybe compress the flour…??? Just expensive not to turn out. Any ideas? I also had farm fresh eggs and new box of soda…
Thanks so much!!! I want to try it again…
Oh no, sorry to hear you had issues, Was your coconut oil in solid form? You don’t typically have to “pack” the almond flour…I am not sure what happened. If the batter is runny the next time, just add in some more almond flour.
If your coconut oil has melted or also the the butter, make sure you refrigerate until it firms up. This should feel like chilled regular cookie dough when you are ready to spoon out onto baking pan.
I also followed this recipe with all new organic ingredients and mine did not cook in the centre at all. But we’re quite browned on the outside and the bottom 🙁
Kyla mine did the same however bake time is critical. For my overnight the happy medium time seemed to be 10-11 minutes no more and no less.
Hello I’m sad I followed the recipe to the T I didn’t have almond flour I had to use organic gluten-free flour other than that every single thing I put in there was identical and they came out tasty in a way but dry and in a ball that did not spread out I’m wondering a baking soda makes things go up not spread out so I’m not sure what’s going on please give me a comment on it
There is no such thing as organic baking soda.. So these cookies are not organic
